A cocktail competition that starts with blind judging, rolls into an exclusive industry gala on November 2 with the final bartenders in the spotlight, and ends with one bartender winning a trip with a guest to NYC for a 2 day residency at the Campari University.
Bartenders from across Oregon are invited to submit original cocktail creations to Campari and the USBG (via this form), entering a three-stage judging process that evaluates not just how a drink tastes—but how it reads, resonates, and tells a story.
After the blind judging rounds, eight finalists will be selected to bring their drinks to life at an industry gala on November 2: THE AFTER[LIFE] PARTY where the room becomes part of the competition. Attendees will taste, connect, and ultimately vote for a People’s Choice winner, who will earn a trip (with a guest) to New York City to visit Campari USA headquarters, immerse themselves in a 2-day residency at Campari Academy and experience some of the city’s best bars.
The themed November 2 event draws from the bold, irreverent artistry of Espolòn. At its core, this competition and event are a celebration of the people who make the bar world move. It’s not just a competition: it’s a night that has the potential to become a defining moment for the Oregon cocktail community and a recurring event for years to come.
